Lower Sandy recon

[Bankbound]

Hit the lower sandy (Piling hole on up to L&C) lookin' for an early springer. None to be found, no hits no misses no nothing. Saw one other guy at a very long distance, but it did'nt look like he had fish on the bank. Bobber and eggs and some cured prawns and some uncured prawns were not the table fare of choice today. At least to the fish. Back at it tomorrow. Eventually I'll be there on the day they come in big numbers. That's going to be the big payoff.

Rumor has it, Jack Glass got 3 Springers under the Troutdale bridge Saterday. We drifted Dabney to Lewis & Clark yesterday. Had 1 takedown on egg and shrimp cocktail 100' below the Troutdale bridge. Missed it though.

And that would be just a rumor, I spoke with Jack Saturday evening and he did not touch a fish all day Saturday. There was a push of fish on Friday where some reported good catches but the bite turned off over the weekend. Hopefully some more fish will come in this week.
