I was thinking about going to either the sandy river and try to catch some early summer steelhead or springer. Or the wilson & trask river and fish for some native winter steelhead. Does anybody have any reports from these rivers? Thanks.

I drifted the Wilson from the Guideshop to the boat ramp on the Wilson River Loop. I didn't catch anything and only saw a few steelhead.
Talked with another guy in a drift boat ahead of me, and he hooked and lost a steelhead and his wife caught and released a sea-run.
The water was very nice and hardly anyone else was around. The fact that I didn't catch anything doesn't really say that much since I spent a lot of time goofing off on my first river run with my pontoon boat.
