How has the bite been the last few mornings? Has it been with the tides?
Thanks

The bite last Friday & Saturday were pretty good. We went 2 for 4 Friday, and 0 for 3 Saturday. Just could not keep them on the hook, and we weren't the only ones w/ that problem. A friend of mine went 0 for 8 those same days. But right now the river looks more like chocolate milk!!! graemlins/berry.gif

Thanks for the update, I have alway wondered why some days they just seem to mouth or peck at the bait but never really take it....very frustrating!!
I had plans to fish tomorrow morning but you're right, the river looks pretty muddy.
I was thinking of tomorrow morning aswell but am worried about the color. Yesterday afternoon (Monday) it was very murky with about 18" of vis...had one take down in 4 hours and didn't see any nets flying amoung about 10-15 boats. Still gotta hope though.

Sounds like it might be a day to sleep in and wait it out.

While the Fish and Game checked my license Tuesday morning, they said only one fish had been taken, as of noon, Tuesday.... the water at Sellwood was brown and moving... no bites from what I could see, and none reported from another boat coming in that morning... I think the water needs to clear up a bit before the fishing gets better..
