Just having a discussion with a co-worker about techniques for springers. My question is: Has anyone ever used (successfully) bobber and eggs in the Channel for springers?

I tried using a diver and eggs in St. Helens area. I figured I would get chubbed up and I was right. The chub get right on em. I'm not going to say it won't work but, make sure to bring more eggs than I was willing to waste.

I have heard of some (limited) success with that technique.
