Who's fishing the Ranier/Longview area on Thursday??? I'll be out with my Dad and will have the VHF on. Be in a white Harbercraft on the Oregon side somewhere, say hi if ya see us. Will be the first time in that area for springers.

Jeff, I'll be out tomorrow. I just don't know exactly where yet, either Kalama launch or above the Lewis. If I spot ya I'll come over ands say hey, I'll be in a 15'Smoker Craft trolling for the most part. Good Luck. SS :cheers:

So here's the report from Thursday. Pretty much dead slow. We had one missed takedown and did hook one fish, Pop's had it to the boat once and then it gave him a run and a headshake and was gone. Didn't get to see if it was clipped or not. It could have been a steelie as it got fully airborne twice, looked to be between 10 and 15. Anyone ever see a springer do that?? Out of about 30 boats we saw a total of 3 other fish caught, 1 nate and 2 hatchery. That included 3 guide boats. Fished the Oregon side just upriver from Rainier.
