Grande Rhonde River Info Needed

Can anyone tell me where it is people fish over on the Grande Rhonde River by LaGrande? I have heard alot of stories about the steelhead fishing over there, but don't have a clue how to get to the areas where they fish. I do not have a drift boat, so I guess I am asking for bank spot locations. Also, what months are best over there? Your help would sure be appreciated. Thanks

SK.......reach out to denali. He lives in Spokane and fishes down there alot. He does not fish in the Oregon area he fishes outside of Lewiston ID. They slam alot of steelies over there.

Drop me a line for some info if you want, LaGrande is my hometown. Getting pretty late in the season to fish em' now, best bet is to learn the spots and watch the dam counts this Fall. Not unheard of to catch fish in Troy in September, it just keeps getting better after that.
