Open Seat Saturday - CR

Have one open seat for Saturday with a friend and I. Plan is to meet at Freds Marina around 5:15, go out to the CR, troll through high slack and then anchor Kwikies around Caterpillar Island until around 2ish. We have virtually no experience in this area and don't know any hot spots, so take warning. Just out to have fun, learn something, and hopefully get lucky. E-mail or post your phone # and I will call tonight (no later than 9:30) or tomorrow evening. I have gear if you need some. You bring your own food, clothing, favorite stuff. Will be in a Blue top & side, Hewescraft 179 Searunner.

I'd love to join you sat. Was planning on fishing, but my wife politely reminded me that I promised to snowshoe with her up at hood and I've put it off to fish the last 6 weekends. She's 6-1/2 mos. pregnant, so it will be interesting. I took my boat out last eve. after work. Fished out of chinook. Really slow! sounds like the spots you'll fish are as good as most. Good luck!
I'd like to join you any other weekend in the future though, so keep me in mind.

I would love to go with you and your friend. I've fished the CR only a few times myself and haven't got lucky yet! I live in Vancouver and don't know exactly where you guys would be meeting....that marina doesn't sound familiar to me...probably because I don't have a boat! You can call me at work today radio station in Portland 800-567-1075 until 2pm or after that at 360-737-7510. I look forward to it. My dad and I were going to go tomorrow but now he has some work to do and isn't able. I have gear...clothes...food and the like....

I just called Fred's Marina and received directions on how to get there.... I'm ready to go if you guys will have me. Give the vancouver number a call tonight (previous post) and we'll chat. Thanks for the post....looking forward to it!
