Killer day on the Columbia (Middle) River

Talk about not being able to do no wrong today!!!!! We had a hot day today guys. We had 13 takedowns that resulted in 9 hookups and landed 6 nice fish. A large nate about 30# topped the day.

We moved down and way to the inside of you at the end of the day and watched you hook the last 3 fish you were on fire. We had a day where we should have stayed home. First the heater died on the coldest day of the year, then I left the donuts in the car, then I cut my finger trying to fix the heater, then we have 4 massive takedowns that don't stick (2 with my new hooks) then the boats on either side of us catch fish, then my coffee cup get thrown out of the boat in all the excitement of one of the takedowns that didn't stick, then I get a warning from the game cop for not having a parking permit in Washington when I didn't even know where to get them. It was a great day of fishing with ZZZzzz though he is a class act, not like the guy I have to fish with tomorrow, Kodiakfisher graemlins/dork.gif :grin: (jk) Hope tommorow is better Kodiak is bringing the magic smoked salmon so all has to be better and we have a new heater. Gotta think positive, Gotta think positive, Gotta think positive.

I hate to dampen your sprits Fishon and Kodiak but 5 Cents I have each have folks going that have never caught a salmon before. :smile: You know how that works, All the luck and fish will be in our boats. :tongue: I have resolved myself that I will be the net man all day. But thats ok.
