Instead of wading through the state's convoluted website :shocked: I thought I would post here. At what age do you need a fishing license in Washington? :shrug: I was thinking of taking the kids this weekend. :cool:

I think the kids only need a punchcard up until 16. And that might only be for the steelhead that they have to pay for. I think the salmon and sturgeon cards are free. Ask at Bobs, they'll know for sure. :cheers:

I was wondering the same thing since my youngest turns 15 this year so I grabbed to book.
Juveniles 14yrs and younger no license required but a catch record is. That's FREE

Youth age 15 can only get a Combo for $5.48 plus I'm sure dealer fee of some kind, and as always need the catch record. That's FREE

And then of course hit the 16yr mark and start paying the big bucks like the rest of us.
