I read the other post about the curing process, but I'm wondering what dyes are best to use, and where I can get them. I'd like to have bright orange, pink, and red dyes. Does Sportman's Warehouse or G.I. Joes carry dye? If not, who does?
Thanks

During the Spring workshop and Fishermans last night Talons said he uses the Pro-Cure and another I can't remember. Both could be found at FMS.

I just bought some Pro Cure bait dye from Sportman's Warehouse today. They have a few colors to choose from as well. You can also use egg cure but I would add some NON iodized salt to it if you did. Same goes for food coloring or things like cool aid or jello.

When you say you can use ProCure, does that mean the regular egg cure? Like the neon rocket red? Or does ProCure make a cure specifically for prawn?

And MasterCaster mentions just adding some noniodized salt.... how much?

Sportco in fife exit 136? northbound on east side frontage road, carries bulk 1.lb and up PRO-GLO bait dyes. You then add your own non iodized salt etc. comes with instructions inside.
