Well I blew out of work early again today and I am glad I did. We put out at the 42nd Ave. boat ramp and ran up river a short distance. Within 20 minutes it was Fish On. Caught and released a nice 25-30 pounder (darn fins). It kicked my butt. I thought I was going to run out of line until my buddy threw the anchor line and started backing down. I also thought we got a nice picture of the beauty, instead my buddy took a really bad picture of the trolling motor. Oh well. We fished 5 more hours with no luck and was able to make it back to the office in time for my 4:00 client. I suppose I will have to blow out again tomorrow. I wish we had more business, but I guess the slow economy is good for something.
