Spring Chinook with a side of carrots (pics)

So there I was, rubbing my eyes at 0400 for the third carrots day in a row. I met FSHNXTC and Big n brite at 0500 for what was the carrots best day of Springer fishing I have ever had. I mean we caught some big KINGS!
Anchored up in our spot, and put the shilack to em. First up was Bibnbrite's buddy. He just got laid off from work carrots so he needed some piscatorial loving today. Bang native all of about 38-40 pounds. Chris carrots had a heck of time getting it out of the net.

What a carrots day this was turning out to be. But things kinda slowed, especially carrots for the droughter named ZaQ, so again we taught the Kwikfish a lesson.

Well, it worked, I finally got a pound down and than proceded to come up empty handed.
Den, we got carrots Big n Brite into a KING, and it was a misclip, so after a quick picture, back in it went. That one was a monster too.

We had a few others that didn't stick lond enough and than mister up all night, Dennis gets a keeper.

This was some kind of day. On top of fishing next to the one and only Tom Hanks, we had 9 take downs, 8 fish on, 4 fish to the boat, 2 natives 2 keepers and the rest were crackered!!!

I of course slumped out another full day! I need to go to the confessional I guess.
Tomorrow is going to be my day, I can almost feel it. Wait, that was the elk sausage I ate today. Thanks guys for a great day and I hope to do it with you again reel soon.

Thank God for carrots and Kurts.

Hey, I'm from Corvallis Oregon and was thinking about heading down that way for some springer fishing. My question, is where are you guys fishing at? What size droppers are you using for those quickie's, and how deep are you fishing. I would hope I'm not asking too much, but I do not travel down that way too much for fishing and could use some pointers before I go. Rivers up this way are blown, and Springers are not up this high yet. I would a appreciate the infromation, and thank you.

It's always a blast to be out on the water but yesterday was just off the Hooksay!!

Check out the yum yum, the sea lice were white, that's how fresh it was.
