Well, I had 2 good friends from Idaho call me a couple weeks ago and tell me they were coming to visit and wanted to catch some fish.... I told them I would do the best I could for them and they had better get here fast!!! So today we did a little plunking and no more than 10 min after we had got to our spot my good friend had a FISH ON and that was the end of that.....Bonk on the Bank and he is going back to Idaho a very hapy man   ..... http://members.aol.com/rrussell94/Ore1.jpg

I had no idea what to expect today, fishing for the first time on the Columbia River for salmon. Rainrshine assured my friend and I his greatest efforts to send us home with some of Oregon's finest fish around. No sooner than 10 min into our adventure on the big C, my rod is barried and I ran to set the hook. A few minuets later, bonk, bonk, and my first Big C spinger was landed!  I am excited for tomorrows adventures of catching my second Oregon prize.

Thanks Rainrshine

Nice job rainrshine and 1 aught! We watched you catch and land that springer! We were the guys above you that you came and chatted with later! Again, nice fish graemlins/applause.gif But remember what we told you, you're supposed to start UPRIVER of us and then work your way down after everyone leaves  Being Native Oregonians, we get the hotspots first  Have a safe trip back to ID! Send me some pics of those steelies you catch this summer!
