What's up 350!!!!!! To whom will have the pleasure of your attendance on Friday? If I were you I would head down to Gov. Island instead, or find out where 5cents is fishing. Look at his posts. He never shares info, he just rapes all the others for info and isn't willing to give up any goods. But from the sounds of things they seem to be doing well down near Goat Island still. You'll never hear the truth....everyone is zipperlipped as if the fish they catch in the area belongs only to them graemlins/berry.gif  graemlins/icon_argue.gif From good sources, from personal experience, these particulars are very rude and are never willing to share. You know me Cartman, I am not afraid to tell it how it is.

Pescado on, that is pretty harsh. 5 cents has worked hard to find the fish and for him to give everybody his spots would seem like one would be asking too much of a person. there are really no secrets out there so lets just all get out there and find em. share if you want and dont share if you dont want. people share info on here not just about spots but techniques also.
i agree i dont like people saying they have a secret and not sharing. that is kind of childish. but if someone is gonna share their experiences here just enjoy them. i just thought your comments were a bit uncalled for.

A few of "you" were the very first to jump on the pile on bandwagon and beat the kawrap out of some of us as "not sharing zipperlips." How funny when the tide turns. Nickle ain't worked hard a day in his "fishing life." Different now huh when you find some good producing spots. I say we all find em' and anchor all over em'! (JUST KIDDING)

I don't mean to be so harsh, it just seems that if you were to ask....there usually is no answer. I have not had any personal run-ins with this, but I have friends that have. I am still learning, and I have much to learn. By no means would I call myself a professional fisherman. It is all fun for me. Nothing personal to 5cents, I just wish folks weren't so zipperlipped.

It just seems funny to me that folks think that a area where they fish is "secretive???" As if the fish play follow the leader and scream up river in a signal file line. If someone is fishing in a spot I may generally use, I just anchor up next to them, or find another spot. I have got mid-week days off anyway, it is really no big deal. It just seems that when folks post their pictures of their catch, they generally share with you where they were, however some folks in particular don't share at all  I fish for the fun...and the quiet time. Catching a fish is just a plus.

hey Nanoook, i think there is a difference in choosing not share and choosing to tease. i did give someone grief once for "zipperlipping". i dont like it, but that is just my opinion. i think what gets people going is when people say they have a secret on a post but they dont share the secret and try to make people jealous. i have never given someone grief for not sharing. that is peoples choices here.
i could bring up an old post by you how you once said you dont care what people think of you here on the board. so why do you edit so many of your posts if you didnt care what we thought of you? dont want to get into it with you but you started. if you have a problem with me lets finish this by email.

I edit them to correct my spelling, grammar and CAPITALIZATION where appropriate. Lighten up Pal. I don't need your approval or lectures. I was not trying to start anything at all, just having some fun.
You've done quite well hitchin' rides in other peoples boats and spots, and proud to post em', like you should be. I take friends out myself and do pretty good. So, peace, love, dove and to each to his own Mr. "iphilosopher, have your own opinions like I do, take me fishin' guy." That's OK too though.
Out of courtesy, spell my name right K?

I second the Government Island thing we fished from 8-2:30 and got zip we saw 1 boat in the middle of 3 go out with 3 fish and that was it for about 40-60 boats fish checker said he saw 4 fish for 40 boats :depressed: . We started out at Bonn but it looked like the water was up 5ft from Monday and the current was cooking. We had 300' of rope, 10' of chain and a 25# rocker anchor and broke the 4 zip ties 3 times trying to set. Decided it was too much and we down stream.

PESCADO ON and others that think his way,
If you want to know where I am fishing email me like the other 100 Ifishers that have. I gave everyone spots to try. The post I made the other day with my family and all those huge, beautiful fish there were 74 other boats around me. I am real sorry that I did not know I was making a party foul. graemlins/1zhelp.gif
Anyone that knows me knows that I share the spots openly. Take the time to send me an email and I will throw many a bone your way. If you emailed me at the address on this board it goes to my work and obviously I have had the week off! If you want some info email me at home, kmnichols2@attbi.com.
******,
Where you goin there buddy??? You are kind of hurting my feelings :depressed: You know I would never keep a secret from you  You are kinda like one of my fishin idols! About the not workin on fishing you are wrong there. I cant tell you (my wife probably can) how many 1000's of hours I have spent looking at my river atlas trying to find spots, reading info in books and on the Internet. Any thing I do I want to do well, that attitude has carried me far in life.

Is there anywhere between Beacon Rock and Vancouver where trolling for springers might be an option over fighting for a hog-line spot? I'm debating if I need to mount my kicker on the back of my Campion or leave it in the garage until Summer.

5-Cents,
I don't want to pick a fight with you, but I find this quote very misleading:
Anyone that knows me knows that I share the spots openly. <font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">I have seen first hand your attitude when people crowd your spots out. I was in a friend's boat, anchored next to one of your friends early this month. You pulled out of a hog line and motored up to talk to your friend,I was embarressed by your loud and hostile attitude about people crowding you out. My friend had been fishing that spot long before you were alive, yes he is quite old, but still a great fishing partner!
My friend asked what you ment by your remark, "People can't keep their mouths shut and post it up." I then explained to him that you were talking about the internet.
My friend then surveyed the boats in the area, there was only 11 boats, and wondered how you handle the peak season.
I have had one other very unpleasent encounter with you that was very hostile when I was only attempting conversation.
Again I don't want to pick a fight with you, I can apreciate the fact that you invite many people onto your boat and put them on fish.
Hope I have better encounters with you in the future,
Andy

Really does not sound like me as I am not one of those people that likes fighting at all? Send me an email and fill me in on the details but I think you are mixing me up with someone else

I guess you just confirmed those things that I have heard Andy. So maybe, I wasn't being so harsh after all. See you on the river Andy.

PESCADO ON,
Yeah I guess the two hours I just spent responding to personal messages and emails helping people out is being zipper lipped and/or rude. graemlins/stupid.gif
I think Andy and I took care of things all ready by email graemlins/idea.gif but what you are doing seems to be based on jealousy or some kind of spite.
I wont respond to these flaming threads anymore as they dont have any basis in the truth and responding to your moronic posts just adds fuel to what ever is driving you. graemlins/dork.gif

5 cents,
First off congrats on figuring out where and how to catch springers.. Some people expect things to be handed to them on silver platter.
And as for everyone becoming excited that spots aren't shared..... Go figure you have to be an absolute Moron to think that sharing a good report on a quiet stretch of water w/4000 + people is a good idea... Even for that matter a good slot on the CR.
Pescado On are you Jealous? What is your motivation in trashing someone on the internet. What are you lacking that needs to be made up for by bashing 5 Cents. This isn't grade school, people aren't required to share... Grow up, and do your homework so you don't have to beg for bits of information off people that did their homework and put in the time.
