fishing in the siuslaw river last year, me and several of my friends were trolling along with about 100 boats when bang! left rod went deep. my good friend grabbed the rod and the fight was on. his friend was running the boat and decided to try and out manouver the fish. for every turn he made with the boat, the fish made a b-line for the trolling motor. one of the funniest things i have ever witnessed. that fish kept up with that for 15 minutes until i told the captain to shut down the motor and let the fish have a break. we landed a nice 35#er within 5 minutes after that.
