Wowww!!!
I never get tired of watching that stuff. That is the ultimate trolling. As a surfer in the Pac Northwest I can tell you, it is a creeeeepy feeling to be paddling around out there and think about how a great white would hit you!!!
One time I thought I was being attacked and it ended up being a juvennile gray whale.... I thought I was dead!!! He was just comin' close to suck in some sand shrimp.

The thought of paddling around with a black wet suit on is now one of the last things on my list of fun things to do. Maybe a different color wet suit would be ok but NOT black. Man what a show. Those monsters hit that bait like a freight train. Awesome, I hope they show it again.

hey,
Don't worry, they're out there. I saw a pic of a guy who bagged a giant great white at Willapa bay in Wa. It was an old black and white photo and the acc. story said that the guy was a seal hunter back when it was legal. He would shoot seals with a rifle and then harpoon them with a float attached to the rope and then go back and pick them all up.
Well this big whitey figured it out and would come along and eat them one at a time, whole!!! I guess this guy didn't like the comp. 'cuz he put a bunch of those harpoons in the big guy and finished him with the rifle.. :depressed:
It looked 18-20 ft. long!! That's as big as they get. 3- 4000 lbs.!!!!!!! They are at the mouth of Tillamook during salmon season. Has anyone seen them out there?
