Bank fishing on the Wilson?

Hello everyone! I usually don't have much luck on the Wilson River. But, all these topics about the hogs being pulled out makes me want to give it a shot. I will be camping at Garibaldi around 2nd week of April. I want to try and fish the Wilson, but I'm not too familiar with decent fishing spots from the bank. Any suggestions would surely be appreciated. graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Give it a shot behind the Guide Shop located just west of the Mills bridge, which is the last bridge going west on Hwy.6 just before you enter the Tillamook valley.

With all the rain we are getting I wouldn't waste my time fishing the wilson. You might try some of the smaller streams in that area like the miami or the kilchis.

Sorry to say, but I think the action on the Wilson will be winding down the second week of April. The winter natives are peaking now, but I already saw a lot of fish spawning on tuesday when I was there. Still might be worth a try, though.
