How is DJ doin', letting somebody else take care of him for a change? And did you push GRB overboard? I want to see a pic of him with (another) fish and listen to him tell me how he spends soooo much time at work. (Yeah, right!)
Glad you bums ...er...pals are having so much fun.
This is really hard to take. Really. graemlins/1zhelp.gif

It looks like a Jack Cravelle and I think they call them 'Toro' if I remember correctly. There allot of fun on the Iron or big poppers; real big surface boil.

The "unidentified" fish is a jack. They are common in warm Pacific waters from Mexico to Micronesia.
The rooster fish is also a member of the jack family. They are not nearly as common, and many folks think they are of poor eating quality.(I have eaten them and think they are so-so. Most folks release them as they are not terribly common.

It's a juvenile "Palometa amarilla" or Golden Jack. I took my best guess, boss. graemlins/dork.gif

Hey,
Who do you think was taking those pictures Skein?
Daves dad also caught a "chula" or Skipjack to me.
We all made bait with about 30 Bonitas, I think it's the locals way of tiring out the "Norte' Americanos". We have learned a new phrase..No Mas Pinche Bonitas!!
BTW, we all wanted to release the big Rooster, but it ate a really big hook really deep. Besides, it didnt have an adipóse fin
The guys on the pier are scaring us with tales of big tuna to 200 lbs that could "eat my head".
You'll love this, we are walking down the pier this morning with our lunches and rods and a local "Pescadero" yells at Dave, "hey, I hope there aren't any bannanas in there"...It's everywhere...we laughed our AO.
Brads Jack Crevalle is called locally a "Jello Tailed Yack". Phenetic of course.
It is really a beautiful place and we are having a ball. Dave keeps cheking the river level reports graemlins/stupid.gif
Sorry to hear its raining graemlins/berry.gif

The funiest thing about today was out of all the people walking down the peir today some one picked me out of the crowd to ask and make sure I didn't have any bananas in my lunch. I lied  and said no but I did
I caught the biggest fish!!!!
That was between naps of course
