Anyone ever try it? I caught a couple of nice nooks at B10 and quite a few silvers in the big blue trolling them last year. I don't see why trolling one wouldn't produce for springers

I would tell you but then I would have send out a hit man to take care of you  .
What are you getting tired of the same old fishing tactics ?

Take care friend

Chris,
Are you still trying to get everyone's secrets???

If you have ever fished next to Fishalot...you know he has no secrets. I watched as he apparently tried everything in his box a couple weeks ago. All with the same result...

NADA!

I caught my first ever chinook in late summer last year on a 5" Coyote (the largest, I think)--
a 27# URB hen. (Near Gov't island) I wasn't trolling it. We were anchored up & backbouncing lures. I'm quite certain that they'd work for springers

I think they work great, but in warmer water. I like something with stink on it in cool water like we have now.

I did well on fall chinook near Astoria on 5 inch spoons last fall. In puget sound they're deadly.

Scott- I have given out far more "secrets" than I have recieved. Speaking of secrets, did you find a secret place to score some smelt this winter when you run out? I would hate to read a couple of begging posts like I did last winter on your smelt shortage crisis
