Hi Jeffhead. Still lots of flow I bet. We got two springers during one short afternoon trip this week trolling herring on the incoming. I hear the afternoons (incoming tide)fished better this week. A 45 pound smoothback was bagged I'm told! Ours were mid 20's. Thanks for the report. I was wondering about the vis. I'll be fishing the outgoing tommorow. Hope the netters left some.

TB,
The wind was really pretty calm, a little gust now and then but no chop on the river.
FH,
Good to hear from you. This was our first trip down and yes the flow was greater than at this time last year. I checked the graphs coming out of Bonnie today and it looked like Monday was down around 15 ft and yesterday it was up around 17 ft. The fish that were hooked were spread out throughout the day, the first one was just after we set anchor and were getting our gear out. Looks like the next time I will get out will be next Saturday.
good luck and tight lines, Jeff

Well here's the report. Fished the runout (8 - 3) at Sand Island, 8 boats in the line we were in. 4 fish hooked and landed by the line, 2 in 1 boat and 1 in 2 other boats, all hatchery fish. Biggest one landed was by the guys next to us, looked to be in the 35 lb range (it pegged their 28 lb scale, naaassss feeeessshhh!!). We didn't hook up, had a drive by on a cut plug that didn't stick. Three of the fish hooked were on chartruese/chrome and the big one was on blue/chrome. Great day, sun and rain both and good folks in the line. We'll try again next week. Oh ya, bout' 2 ft. of vis.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff
