going to bonneville tomorrow was just wondering if there was a free put in close to the dam?.gonna see if we cant get the boy into some gators to release.i promise we wont be targeting sporingers :wink:

Dalton Point, but I'd build a chain link fence around your rig after you park it. And put a couple of German Shepherds in there for good measure. No dock there, either. (at least the last time I used it)
I think there's a ramp at North Bonny (WA side)but I don't know if it's free.

thanks for the info pump,unfortantly i dont have any dogs to watch the rig while im out pounding the water.any info on the put in on the wash side of bonny would be great

Take the cascade locks exit and go across the Bridge of the God's. It will cost you a buck fifty each way. Once on the Washington side turn left and head down river. Just after the smolt shute's that dump the smolt's back into the river there will be a road on your left. There will also be a sign on the highway that says boat ramp. There you go. I launch from there and catch the big gators right at the dead line on the Washington side. I also sit about fifty feet below that boat launch and about the same off the bank. Just be careful the current can be really strong up there. :grin:
