Rubber Hooks sent me the link to this article. I hadn't seen it posted here yet and thought I would share it.

Br, Thanks for posting that link for me. The way I read the article, It implies that the Indian hatcheries will have to fin clip too. I hope that this true as it will mean more fish available for the sports angler to harvest. according to the article there is a tribe in Wa. that already fin clips.

This article means more to us sport fishermen (at least those interested in CR management and fisheries) than any other issue out there. This law makes sence but there will be extreme pressure from many sources against it especially the tribes. Imagine them selling uncliped gillnetted natives after 100% marking. They won't like it at all. This law is the right thing to do and we need to write letters and get out congressmen behid it.
