With the rivers running a little high took my 5 yr old to the Crab Races after a few casts with his new spinning reel told us there was no way the rivers were fishable. Have never been to the
races before - what a blast. People come from all over the NW each year for the event - and they really cater to kids who get prizes for every race even if they don't win. 4 ribbons and many prizes later our otherwise ruined fishing trip was now a great memory. If the rivers are out - hit the annual crab races !!!! ( And yes - I think the loosers are served for lunch !!)
