Well it had to happen sooner or later except it happen to one of the nicest guy's on this board. Big and Bright had what looked to be well over 25# hatchery springer next to the boat when it decided to spit the hook. We had a little chinese fire drill while he was fighting his fish and during the drill the net got stuck in my fishing pole. So instead of being ready for fish I was untangling the net. By the time I was done the fish made it's first appreance at the boat and looked at Bobby gave him a great big smile and his kwikfish back. Needless to say Bobby would have rather taken that kwikfish out of his mouth in the boat. Two other boats next to us had fish on and lost them also I guess the fish won today. Had a great day fishing with BNB, ONECAST "The snake killer" and Boo. These open seat have been working great lately meeting a great bunch of fisherman. Boo you are invited back as soon as you return from your trip to Brazil. But you better bring some good story's....................Chris

You know, I was kinda wondering if you had died or something - here it was almost 8:00pm without another in your face pig picture to goad all of us who had to work today. Was about to call the sheriff to see if there was an accident report.

XTC, you are something else. What is this, four days in a row now with fish on? Aren't you afraid of running out of mojo? I, for one, am pretty damned impressed. Keep it up and keep those pictures coming.

That Sounds like a fun day on the water... I really wanted to take advantage of the open seat but work was still mad at me for getting the metal head flu last friday as i snuck over to the siletz. I used to fish with my Grand-father in the 80's outside of scapoose somewere in the MC. I believe it was browns Landing? We used to have so much fun out there springer fishing and when the Shad started to run we usually spent days out there hooking one after another. I Have not fished this stretch of river since the 80's and would love to go back I heard it is very crowded and lots of hog lines? I do remeber it being some what crowded but we always had a spot to are selfs away from the other boats. Good luck on your future trips I would love to come on the boat and share some stories and have a great time fishing.

You are my Hero!

But seriously, there are so many folks out there with no springers yet - You should be darn proud of yourself!

As for yer Avatar, Jennie's been cleaning house - You may want to re-upload! There is a thread about that somewhere.....

Yep the one that got away:

That would have been my biggest springer yet and I would say it was close to 30lb, Man it was a beautiful fish. I had a blast bringing him to the boat and it's always a blast being out there with your buddies.
Had a good day.

ONECAST was a good boy and didn't kill any snakes today

Hey Boo, don't forget to e-mail us some pics from Brazil, don't eat too much

Chris....just in case, tomorrow is the 5th.
Good luck tomorrow, go get the one that got away.

Fishnxtc,
thanks once again for a great day. As any of the ifisher's that have fished with you know, you're a great pleasure to fish with and generous to a fault...thanks again for the fresh fish and all the help and advice. BNB and Onecast, thanks again for the good company and I hope we're fishing again soon.
BNB, I know that Onecast's Molalla talk got you all worked up so I promise I'll take many pics of the scenery on my trip and will provide colorful narrative on our next fishing trip.
Boo
