Beerbellyfisher,

It is customary to tell a kickbutt story for your first post, so lets hear it!

Then you will get a warm Ifish welcome!

We were there also, saw nothing, not even a shaker for the three locations we tried....

Here's a 'new member' tale! I hope this doesn't happen to you, Nickle! A few years ago, I was the first one at the boat launch on the East Fork of the Lewis (dark, mind you!). Backed the drift boat down.....pushed it off the trailer, while hanging on to the rope.....let it swing out away from the trailer, and......the rope broke! Off goes my boat.....fishing poles, heater, and all!! Luckily, when it got light, my boat is sitting in the middle of the river 100 yards down river, lodged on a rock. About that time, here comes my buddies with their boat, and after we get through laughing, we board their boat and retrieve mine!!!!!

I have never fished Frenchmens bar. I live in Washington but dont get to the columbia to fish much. Where is this and how do you get there? Is it easy access?

Baskett,
Drive out 4th Plain (west) through the Port of Vancouver area (towards Vancouver Lake Park) and when you get to the 90 degree left turn at the Vancouver Park Entrance, go left and it is about another mile or so past that. Very nice park and sandy beach.
