I would like to intro myself...and say thanks for alowing me to join this site. So..First name is Dale and I have lived in Oregon all of my 50 yrs.. Grew up fishing the Sandy, EC, and the Clack. I live and work in Salem. I recently obtained my guide llicense and hope to make this at least a semi-full time occupation as I near retirement from my current job. I currently own a 23' Rogue Marine sled and a 16' Clackacraft drift-boat. I hope to meet some of you out there and maybe have in some cases. I still fish these old rivers, but have expanded to sturgeon fishing and fishing the Santiam & Willamette Rivers as well, not to mention the coastal rivers & bays. Anyway...Here's to fishing in Oregon and with some really great people! I just want to say also that this is a really great web site and what a commendable job the admin does here.

Thanks for allowing me to join this site.I'm new to this computer stuff.Have lived in Or.for thirty plus years and fished everywhere that i could get access to.3 weeks ago a friend called and said he had fresh smelt. O BOY! 4 hours later we were at Kelly Pt. with three keepers 59,47,45. Guess which one i got? It was a Gooooooood day.I want to thank everyone who shares info. on this site.I find a lot that is very useful. Smelt info. on 2-21 led me and some friends to limits on 2-22.
