sportjet spark plugs?

What are your recommendations on spark plugs for a 175 sport jet? How often do you change yours? Brand? My sport jet, which is a year old, sounded a little rough the other day, maybe the plugs are fouling. Can you take them out and wipe them clean or just replace? Your suggestions would be much appreciated.

I replace mine with the identical model NGKs every 100 hours. They haven't appeared oiled or fouled at all. You might try just cleaning them if they look dirty.

I replace mine every 50 hours with an autolite #2852. $1.89 each at shucks. And they work just fine. :smile:

I replace mine twice a year with NGK, the same it came out with. I bought my first six at a marine parts store......over $12.00 a piece!!! That was 3 years ago, after that I found them at the auto parts (NAPA) for $12.00 for all six, same plugs. Take care

I'm with Pete. Every 100 hours or once a year whichever comes first. Watch out they are EXPENSIVE!!! :shocked: :shocked: Ouch!
