Went on the Sandy this morning. It took about 10 Min to get 4 limits.. Very easy... :cheers:

Sturgeonslayer, I-84 east, just after crossing sandy river take the exit, it will wind around and put you right on the river, lot's of parking just look around and you'll see where the action is.

Go out 1-84 until you pass over the Sandy, take the next right I think it is Lewis and Clark park or something to that effect. Go dip about 100 yards below the train bridge right after dark is best. Took the kids in the afternoon yesteday and only got 1 limit in about 1 hour. Went back after dark and got 1 more in 15 minutes....

SMELT ARE STILL IN THE SANDY !!!

Smily & I hit the west side behind the Factory Outlets at 7:30 this morning (SAT). We shared one net, two buckets, and two limits in 20 min.

It took a lot longer to process the 25 lbs then to net them. My wife helped me clean 2 doz males for Lunch & Dinner today for me (she didn't want any). We vacuum packed 6 doz males to give to family. I vacuum packed 4 doz females for sturgeon bait. The heads and the rest went into crab trap sized bags, and into the freezer.

GO GET'EM !!!
