Browns Landing?

Any of you ifishers ever launch out of Brown's Landing? If so, how was it? Parking? Are there docks? Is it the one just before you come in to Scappoose?

I think it is 3 or 5 bucks. Honestly can't remember. Parking is weak spot. Get there VERY early or very late.Or expect to walk some.

As you head west on hwy 30, just as you get into Scappoose on the right is a texaco. Just after the gas station is a road on the right. Thats your baby.

Last time I was at browns landing was 3 years ago. Parking isnt great. What I didnt like was that there was no docks that were usable since they were marked "private". Pretty crummy launch. Go a little farther to the Port of St. Helens aka Scappoose Bay and you will find a great facility for a $3 fee. Head down Hwy 30 and you'll see the signs.

It's not too far a run from there to either the Columbia or Coon island or whereever your going. Good luck! :smile:

Don't bother. A new resturant has been built there and he wants a fortune to park there. $7 a day I think. He installed ballards in the parking lot also blocking part of the lot.
