.A pay to play Trout Pond is a good bet if the are young, I took my nieces to a place outside of Beaverton called ?? something hideaway (need a little help guys) Anyway it was a nice place for the kids to try there hand at fishing for the first time and wasn’t to expensive.

Detroit or Jigging for Herring in Newport. Altough with recent snow Detroit might be a little cold.

Here is a great place for kids. http://www.horningshideout.com/horningsa.html
They charge two ways , by the pound for fish kept caught with bait or by the hr. flyfishing with barbless hooks and properly releasing the trout while in the water. Hope this is ok Jennie ,don't see it competing with any paying ads. and maybe you can contact them to advertise and it is a great place for kids.
