Gonna be a high water game, fish the tips of normally high and dry gravel bars, if it's on the drop in the AM you might have a big day.

the graph shows it at 12' right now and it hasn't begun cresting yet. it's gonna be a quick drift, that's for sure. i'll bet clarity is down around 2ft. work the edges. don't overlook the deep holes - there's already some eager nooks being taken.

I would love to give you a report and tell you where I have been getting them and on what but Sorry, I was told some people take offence to my river report posts on the board and not to make them anymore :depressed: .
e mail me for reports and all the info your ears can take.

Drove by it tonight to see what kind of response the smelt report had. Not a lot of guys dipping yet but I saw they were getting some.
The river is off color but not what I would call blown out. It is about 2-3 feet of visibility. It is still green. It is high. I would say stick to the side channels, fish close to shore, use bigger rigs. Good luck!

Plunked below the I-84 bridge for 2 hours. No fish, but TONS of smelt!! Lots of people dipping. Limits is 10-15 min.

MadWiz,

Who has been saying they don't like your posts?

I personally like your post and info. It makes me feel good that someone else enjoys fishing the Sandy as much as I do.

As for the Sandy up here in Sandy? Started off this morning looking great, just kept getting higher and higher and muddier and muddier, as the other reports confirm.

Good luck,
Andy

Sorry to hear that MADWIZERD I enjoy reading your reports even though I dont even fish the Sandy. Dont let people push you around as far as what reports you post. If you want to report it then go for it. Forget the people that dont like it and share what you want to share.
