Fished Coon Island Sunday a.m. for springers and nada. Moved out to the big river for gators and managed a couple of shakers before tide and wind had thier way with us.
Monday afternoon ran up to the Lewis and netted two limits in less then 10 minutes! Wow, now that was anti-climatic(sp?). Drove from Salem an hour and ten, caught our limit in ten and drove all the way back. But we have lots of fresh bait, way cool.
Need to take a couple of really good friends this week-end for gators......after all this rain....think Bonniville or K.P.?
