I'm curious if there are many who are facing tough times at the workplace and daily find themselves day-dreaming of their favorite fishing hole, run, or drift? It seems that with the state's current budget woes along with world affairs in a mess, I have found myself drawn more than ever to nature, solitude, and a return to the 'basics'....I just wish the weather and fish would empathize with me a bit more. I'm so greatful to have an 'escape' in fishing. Any thoughts?

I have to dito what Keta said being one of the unemployed in Oregon.
However, being unemployed means that when I don't have interviews I can go fishing, maybe.

Ya' know, if my wife gets another raise I may not have to go to work anymore.

Fortunately my husband and I are both employed full time, but we both daydream about being out fishing quite regularly. We usually can only make it out on the water on weekends unless we can get a day of vacation once in a while during the week. Some day, we will be able to retire, I HOPE, and will be able to go fishing whenever we feel the urge!
