Finally took the skunk off me in Oregon. Fished Washington and no problems. But Oregon has had my number. Fished the Sandy today and had one to the bank and broke off. Retied and fished another 20 minutes and fish on. Got this one to the bank saw it was wild and was reaching for my pliers and noticed that their was another hook in her mouth. It was my first hook so either the eggs were really good or this fish just wanted to commit suicide. Any way the question is. Was I one for one or one for two?.

i'd say one for two. are you certain it was your hook? was it engraved with your name? did you recognize the knot?

bottom line is you hooked up twice. doesn't matter that it was the same fish. if you're out with a buddy, you land the fish and release it, then your buddy lands and releases it (something like distinctive net marks or a seal mark to identify it), does that make you 2 for 1 on the trip?
