At this rate, we'll all be regretting it in a couple months, when there's a poor spring runoff to move the smolts to the ocean; followed by record low river levels this summer with accompanying high water temps.
There's so little snow. Up the Gorge, I'm hiking bare trails right now that should have 3' to 4' of snow at this time, and not be snowfree until into April.
WAAAYYYY to dry.

This weather is a freak'in disaster for the fish.
There is no snow pack. That means it's going to be a battle royal with BPA for water for the salmon when they need it during the spring, summer and fall. The fish (and fishermen) are likely going to lose the battle with the BPA for the water.
Not to mention the streams like the Sandy and tributaries that depend on snow melt for water.
THINK SNOW or think of no salmon.
