Do I understand correctly that the columbia is open to salmon fishing up to the I-5 BRidge presently. I am thinking of trying Friday but was only going in MC. I may venture into CR if it's open around Gobel. graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Also, I plan on being out all day. Any input on wether the sturgeon would be worth trying or just concentrate on salmon, Oooor vice versa.

Any help would be appreciated. Since this is my first time on the water this year (how pathetic) as I haven't been fortunate enough to fish much lately, I reeeallly want to have a good day with any fish. I've been suffering the fishing pox  real bad lately and need to take a day off graemlins/program.gif to get cured.

Ol, Tuna Skipper.

Neutron,
I asked the same question yesterday on the "Springer Seasons Set" thread. The answer I got was that it is a couple of miles below The Dalles dam. I haven't had the chance to look for it on the map.

Given that the nets go in, in less than a week, we are heading out Saturday for Rainier. We are planning on hitting the outgoing for springers and then kick around for some sturgeon if possible.

Maybe we'll see you out there.
