Want to start trying the diver and bait/Pink worm method. But I'm not sure on the size of Spin-n-Glo's to use. Do I use the smallest possible or a little larger? Also wondering on the leader length? Heck, while I'm at it, I have some #10, #20 jet divers. Should I use the #10? I mostly fish the Clackamas and will be fishing out of a DB. With 14lb braid line.
Thanks for any answers on my multiple questions.

Smaller is better. We use little corkies and the fish don't mind. You want them to zero in on the worm not some spin glow on the wrong end away from the hook.
I tried double hook rigs, but the worm would not swim for me with 2 hooks in it so we thread them on above a single bead on top of a 1/0 Gammie. Use the soft worms. The Berkleys do not swim as well as the softer worms. Berkleys are ok for casting, but divers are best when they wiggle. Soft worms wiggle. Nuff said?
There are other colors than pink. Nuff said?
Never fished them behind a jet diver but I suspect that a 10 is perfect and a 20 will do fine too. Just shorten the mainlines for the 20 to keep it in the zone.
We use 5-7 foot leaders and some other stuff that matters  .
I have gone to 15 maxima because we had fish bust off 10 on the strike. They hit it harder than anything I have ever seen. Plugs included. 12# should work, but we run 50 tuf mainline and it is hard on leaders so we buff up. No reason not to. They are not line shy in this application. Use ultragreen, the chameleon is stiffer and impedes the action.
Brads divers are better than jet divers. Hot-N-Tots are better than Brads. Hopefully Brad will figure out how to make them swim like storm did before the change.
Once you see a soft worm swim on a limp leader( I can't believe I just typed that in a public forum!!! ) rig up a berkley on Chameleon. You will see the difference.
Use a 4 1/2 "er. the 6 inch worms get bit plenty, but they miss the hooks more often on the longer worms. 3 1/2" is better than 6". Spade tail only. No twister tails. Use a bead chain swivel between the plug and diver to eliminate twist problems.Maybe a foot back from the diver.
Set your drag a bit lighter than you would with plugs. The fish tend to run more directly after the strike( compared to plugs) and it is best to let them turn. That way the hook is in the corner of their mouth by the time you get the rod pried from the holder. Watch out for slack bites and the diver running off to the side.

Wow  Thanks Flatfish
As far as the worm goes, I've been using the 3" Seducer worms, with a 1/0 hook. My leader has always been UG, no matter how I'm fishing. How much of a tail are you allowing to hang off the back of the hook?
Now with the Diver and bait, Are you using a Corky as well?
Thanks

Yeah we use little corkies. Sometimes other stuff. I am sure spin glows will work, but why go to the expense?? Think outside the box.
we have been running the tail of the worm just shy of the hook point. I think they hit the thing in the middle, which is why you want to let them yank a few times before the big hookset. You want the rod flat. Not bouncing. Kinda like a king on a Kwikfish.
hey bankbound...when was the first time I said it all? There are other things to think about but this is the 101 class.
I wanna take the Madwiz class on little metal thingies that wiggle 101.
