Finnman I feel for ya :depressed: , I was in your situation til lunch today (see lunch on the Clack post today). Had a Nate on Sunday, but my wife has been thinkin I'm doing something else but fishing cuz we haven't had fresh fish this year

Keep at it, go back to the basics, hit the old hot spots.....if you keep fishin, they will come

I killed my stink yesterday with Big & Bright and Boedy on the clack. I dropped the CHALUPA on two steelies. One was a really bright, it was so shinny it blinded Bobby and he tossed out of the net     and a little while later I got a steelie to make up for the that jumped out the net...........Chris

Eagle has done almost nothing for us fly guys but I did hook into on about six weeks ago...

It hasn't been a real easy year for most of us "average" anglers.

Time and patience.

My problem is I'll hit it a few times and if I don't hook up on something I burn out for two or three weeks then I'm ready again. I didn't land a steelhead in the first few trips out in January and until this morning I hadn't been out in three weeks. Fortunately I broke the steely skunk for 03' today.

Late Feb and March are great months to pick up those big late nates and the pressure is minimal.

Keep hitting it, there are weeks of good fishing left!

 Way to go Bob'r down and Chris

I haven't fished with BNB (although I've seen His pics), but I know Boedy can sure get the skunk off a boat.

I must inform you and all the others reading this post, there really aren't any fish in the Clack, they're all in the Sandy. Yep that's the Sandy River
