the latest odfw report says a few springers have already been caught in the lower sandy. can anyone confirm this? i'm itching to get out the big bobber stick.

Call me about this in May.. If you want to fish for them, by all means go for it. But 40 degree water in February? A couple months early for the real good fishing. MHO.
