Greetings All - Finally got to Alaska last year. Spent 8 days fishing the Kenai river for Kings and Reds, Seward for Coho and Deep Creek for Halibut. Now that I have figured out this picture upload process, I thought I would share the fun.

Sometimes the fish don't want their picture taken.

This actually was not my picture, but was near where we were fishing. Got to have some scenery pics - its Alaska.

Enjoy and dream of Alaska. I am. I will be back again this year - especially to fish for Reds on the Kenai - what a blast!!

BTW - if any fellow IFISHers are going to be in Soldotna or Cooper Landing toward the end of July, drop me an email and perhaps we can schedule to meet for a cold one. Good fishing, Drifter.

I was stationed in Alaska while in the Army. Seeing those pics sure brought back a lot of good memories. I have fished that river so many times I see it in my sleep. We used to head out of the mouth and fish the green can for Halibut. Not as good as Deep Creek or Homer but you did catch fish and it was a short run.

Thanks for the trip dowm memory lane. We plan on a trip this summer.
