Wilson report

Fished the Wilson pretty hard on Wednesday.
Water was still a little off color.
4 or 5 boats. 1 or 2 fish per boat, nothing spectacular. Mostly nates.

Bank report is different. A boat past me that came down from Siskeyville, said the bankies were slayin' em behind the shop.

Stopped to check it out on my way home (5:15). Guy just nailed two chrome hatchery fish.


Thursday:
Stopped at Mills on my way to crabbing. 8:00 no fish on the bank. Stopped again on my way back home. No fish on bank. Bankies said it was not like wednesday. No boat repport. Water looked great.

Smoky, how'd you do on crabbing? I was thinking about heading there this weekend and was wondering if it was worth it or not.

We had three boats, total of 8 pots.

I got 8 for my 2 pots. Other boat same.

Boat with 4 pots got 20. He knew the area pretty well.

This was my first time crabbing. Did it with my Willie and an 8 horse. I had a ball. Cant wait to take my wife and son.

The guy who got 20 crabs wouldnt dial me into the holes. He needed to out catch me with the crabs because of the spanking I put on him during fall Chinook.
