OK, I am tired of all the tight lipped people out there not giving any Sandy reports. The river has been in shape for a couple of days now. And I know there has been a lot of pressure, Dodge Park is packed and so is the parking lot to Pipe Line.

So here is my report:

I took my Dad today, 02-06, and floated from Oxbow to Dabney. I hooked 2 beautiful winter fish. 1st one was in the park on a pink corkie and yarn cromer about 8 lbs and the 2nd was caught below the park on a plug again a cromer a solid 15 lbs.

Both were native so they were promptly released.

The water was a great color and height. I did not hear of any other fish caught on the river today, but I know there were some caught.

Get out there and catch some fish this weekend, hopefully the east wind will die down!

Good luck,
Andy

Hey Andy,

Just wanted to thank you for the great report. I've had the Sandy in the back of my mind for this weekend. Probably won't make it, but I appreciate the post anyway.

Nice Job on the fishing too!

I fished above dodge today for about 2 hours. Result: the usual skunk. The river looks great, but I still can't touch a fish, not even a bump! I've tried everything this winter from jigs to corkies to sand shrimp to eggs. I tried a homemade rag today. Boo-hoo for me. At least somebody is catching (I won't lie though, I wish it was me). Somebody at dodge said they hooked 6 today! Good luck everyone.
