Just wondering if anyone fished k-point or lower willamette today for sturgeon. If so how did you do. I know it was pretty dead on tuesday. I didnt see any reports today on k-point so just wondering if the bite picked up from a coulpe days ago.

a couple of 39" and one 41" and a few smallers but thats it!!... on wednesday!!

We fished KP, Willamette, and down the Columbia and caught 4 shakers, one 41". We talked to someone who caught a couple keepers at the mouth of the Willamette and 1 keeper at the tip of Hayden Island.

Fished just below the mouth of the willamette today from 10:30 to 3:30. We got approx. 30 fish to boat for 2 rods. 2 in the low 40's and several in the upper 30's, but no keepers :shrug: Still a fun day, couldn't beat the weather :smile: Probably 25 boats in the area, didn't see any keepers caught.

what a great day on the river. The weather was awesome and the friends were great. However the fishing was slow. We only saw a few shakers caught and no keepers. We fished below the willamette for most of the day then we moved below the island.We just had many small bites and no fish. Is there something we are doing wrong. It seems like we sure are missing many bites. What kinds of rods are you guys using? Is there any special type of hooks anything else that might cause us to miss those bites? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

we had the same issue today in one spot, then we moved and immediatly hooked the first biter. I think that it might be reallllll small shakers or even stupid bullheads or something, but it has been happening to everyone.
