Has anybody tried to fish the north fork of the lewis lately? I am heading there tommorrow and was wondering what is happening? How is the water conditions? There should be some fish in there now after the high water. Any help would be appreciated.

Friday 8am to 1pm...Water is still high but fishable. Bottom seems to have changed significantly, and didn't locate any fish with corkies and yarn. Limited space due to the high water yet, but did hear of a couple 5's picked up early in the week, with spin-glos and sandshrimp. Mornings seem best will give it another go tommorrow am.

It was very slow. We actually were off the river and headed toward Kelly Point by 1030 in the morning. The water conditions are still very tough for good fishing. There was alot of changes in the river so the fish were hard to locate. Hopefully it get's better soon.

Right now it is in between seasons but look for the Steelers to go all the way to the Superbowl next year (where they will beat Dallas... again).
