View Full Version : OPB 11am today
Theres a cool show on Salmon which focuses on the northwests dam effects, northwest salmon challenges and Ocean activity. Not sure everyone will get it at the same time, but Directv OPB (oregon public broadcasting) its on now. Hosted by Alan Alda.

I gotta say I was pretty disapointed by how short this segment of the show was, although it was a bit enlightening.
Is it just me, or does it seem like these fish on the Columbia have a little to much to deal with in thier assisted journey down stream?
All the sophisticated equipment and extreme expense given to the effort gave me a better idea of whats being done for northwest Salmon, its no easy task, but at the same time I was discouraged by a number of things including the fact that I had no idea there were that many dams in the Columbia system!
I posted a link to watch the show online for those who missed it.
