Got the stink off

I finally managed to catch a legal size Sturgon. Been at this sport for a while and have only caught either shakers and the one monster oversize beast.

I set the hook on this fish and I flashed to the time I hooked into the 10 footer and I said to my mates "I don't want to do this". I through out my lower back but I managed to boat a nice fat 50 inch keeper.

We caught a boat load of shakers and then finshed off the day with one more 50 incher.

Gives a whole new meaning to twin 50's.

And he wined all day about the pain in his back about being wet about wanting another big fish but it was great to see him get that first keeper hope he breaks the springer bug this year too

Jeremy where did you fish yesterday? Bonneville? How was the wind and debris in the water?
We fished KP yesterday in the morning and caught 20 shakers, no keepers.

he was fishing right off the launch about 120 yards at the fishery fresh smelt 16 oz of lead
sat same spot 24 oz would not hold and there was much more water
