I was interested in any one has imformation onwhere a person can purchace bulk smelt 25-50lbs

Seriously, not to me mean but I could help you get a limit or others here could. As much as netters are disliked on this board, rather than buy them let's go dip them. Three limits tonight in about 40 minutes. Just howler if you need help.

Go to the Cowlitz if you can. The Sandy run is very hard to catch. If you can only go to the Sandy, do in the evening on the westside. :smile:

Cowlitz, Kelso, just up from the bridge. Look for a sandy bottom, it's much easier and that's where they spawn. You have to get the net near or on the bottom and no rocks is easier on the net.

$1.29 at Safeway, can get up to 20lbs normally. Some have it now, some don't...call around. Albertson's also has it, my local Winco does too. You can only personally have 10lbs on Washington rivers per day. If you're driving very far to get to the river......it's a no-brainer, gas is getting pretty spendy.
