We park our camper at the coast every winter so we can chase nates around Tilly. Our regular place had a huge rate increase ( I can stay in a motel every weekend for what they want, can't blame them for asking but jeez). We need elecrticity. A shower facility. And water.
I know of one place in Tilly across from the cheese factory. Do you know of any others? If we can keep it from Tillamook to Pacific city, that would be great.
Thanks.

Let's see.
Donaldson's has some electric fencing, the river allows a washup, and there's plenty of water!
It's only $2 a day or so!

Thanks for the free advice, Hog. Worth what I paid for it.
Do you still need to borrow my cheater pipe to loosen that drag of yours?
Camping an Donaldsons, a real family experience.
Only Mark, the sellout dog is begging for handouts in the dining room.

Netarts has some hookups

In Garibaldi, you might try miami cove on the north side of the highway, or the old mill area.

I stayed in a place on Netarts Bay this past summer. Can't remember the name but it had a little inlet that came under the road, just deep enough to get a small boat through. Nice place.

Mark, there is an RV type place south of Tillamook on 101. It would be a central location to all the streams. Seems like you should be able to get a good rate this time of year. My father kept his 5th wheel there one fall. Good luck.

Mark,
During the 80's I parked my RV & boat at 101 RV park next to the wilson. At that time I would pay them a buck a day each for the RV and the boat when they were stored back behind their shed. When I was going down for a few days I would call and reserve a space and then just show up and move the RV 200 ft to the space and hook it up. Don't know if something like this would work for you or not, but it beats paying space rent when you are not there. Bargin with these camp sites as they are not full in the winter. You might want to offer to pay X when you are not there and full price wneh you are. Good luck....

Mark,
Try McDonaldsons in Tilly.
Hookups - just be a little sneaky.
Washrooms - well, you've bathed in a sink before?
Easy walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the dog can easily poach some handouts from other campers,,, errrr ah patrons.
If that doesn't work, Walmart has that open parking lot policy. You'll just have to fraudulently join AARP to get a set of the HUGE wraparound glasses (maybe Hog will let you use his??) and hang out with all the other blue hairs so they'll 'watch yur rig while you run into town for the day to see the doctor.'
When you get it all figured out, let me know. I'm ready to phish.

Mark, call Tom and Carolee at Miami cove. They have a monthly rate that's hard to beat.
They have hookups, and well maintained bathrooms/showers. It's where I have called "home" the first week or two of October the last few years. They treat you very well there.

Thank you too Red. And you got an invite in there to. Maybe I would have remembered you better if the anchor had a bowline in it  .
