Meldrum bar tips?

Thiking of fishing the MB for the first time. Anybody have any "rules of the road " tips that will keep me from upsetting the regulars?

Remember when in Rome do as the Romans do. The same goes for Meldrum bar. Go a little early and observe. Ask a few questions and you will be surprised what you can learn in just one outing.

You're off on the right foot already just by asking for info!! Check with the locals who are already there and just try to fit in. There can be a lot of good info to be had just by being a good neighbor. One of the joys of plunking is the comraderie that happens when everybody is waiting for a bell to go off.

The folks @ Meldrum are very nice people. They are willing to help you rig up and get you fishing. Just have to approach them like your not taking over their site. :whazzup:

You would be suprised how many people go down there and squat right on top of their gear. :mad: If they seem rude, move down river and talk to some other people. Most are nice. :smile:
