Myself and a few other ifisher's hit the wilson this morning. We drifted in Fishhawks driftboat. What a great day, no other drift boats on the river until about 3pm. The elk were everywhere, the weather was great. Had to use high water drift tactics-short leaders, big corkies and lots of scent. The river was running 7.4 when we put in behind the guide shop but had decent color. Fishhawk caught and released a beautiful 16-18lb native buck behind the trailer park on pinkcorkies and yarn. No other fish taken. Wednesday should be a great day if the river continues to drop.
